the diabolical bulk

Posted on 3rd July 2008 by helgé

Now I know there is a moral in there somewhere, and after you have waded through virtually every form of weapon to get there, I doubt whether the moral features at all.

America just loves the macho male throwing guns at everything…even if they are having no effect at all…they seem to think this makes a great movie!!!

Such irony, my dear!

And while watching this film, determined to sit it out to the end, I kept thinking to myself: heaven save us from America!

If this is the type of crap that is being fed to our children, wer’e in for big, big trouble. The film is so out of touch with everything modern one wonders that it ever made it past the script stage. Are the directors just so keen to make a quick buck, that nothing matters at all?

These are the type of guys that give our planet a bad name.

Now if I get this correctly, the film is telling us its alright to have anger, but only if that anger is directed positively. The film uses greed to show us that greed is a terrible thing. Its a bit like daddy saying, dont do as I do, do as I say. In a filmatic sense, this becomes a huge waste of money.

Pity that Norton tries to make sense of it, pity that Liv is so pretty.

Nothing can save this film….not even a bored Sunday afternoon at the video shop.
